    Senior Development Manager at Attacq

    Thomas started out his working career as a Quantity Surveyor with Davis Langdon during which time he achieved his professional registration with both the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors with exposure to the commercial, logistics and major civil and harbour infrastructure projects.

    After 7 years an opportunity arose to join Investec Bank where he was exposed to property risk management, corporate and property finance, property development and property investment both in both South Africa and the UK.

    In 2018 he joined Attacq Property Fund as a Senior Development Manager focusing on Waterfall City. His interest lies in green fields development with a strong concentration on green buildings and sustainable development fundamentals, net-zero building performance and reduced carbon construction primarily aimed at achieving the lowest cost of occupation for the tenants, best building performance, strong development yield and growing net operating income.

    Sean Badenhorst

    Regional Head - Commercial Valuations at FirstRand Group

    Sean Badenhorst has been a valuer since 2004 where he was working in private practice before joining the Investec Commercial Property Risk team in 2010. In 2013 he took up an area manager role within the FirstRand Residential and Agricultural Valuations team before moving to the Western Cape in 2016 to take up the Regional Head position.

    In 2018 he was promoted to the Regional Head position within the FirstRand Commercial Valuations team managing the areas of the Western and Eastern Cape, a position he still currently holds. In 2020, he further became involved with assisting the RMB Corporate and Investment Banking.
