Thys Beukes is registered as a professional valuer with the SACPVP. He has been in the profession full time since 1992. His core function is to perform valuations of fixed and moveable assets. He previously served as the Chairman of the Central Branch of the SA Institute of Valuers seated in Bloemfontein and now serves as an executive member of the Southern Branch. Thys has delivered many presentations and talks on commercial, specialized and farm valuations at seminars hosted by the SAIV and has an in depth knowledge of the valuation of these types of properties.
Thys started his own valuation company, MRB Property Valuations in April 2014. This company is a service provider to various financial institutions, government departments, mining companies and municipalities for commercial, residential, specialized and agricultural valuations. This company also has various service level agreements with national valuation companies.
