Hein Hartman Professional valuer Hein Hartman was born in Bloemfontein, schooled at Cape Town and Pretoria and commenced his career in the valuation profession in 1980 at the then ‘Pretoria Municipality’. In 1983 Hein was appointed City Valuer at the Borough of Ladysmith. During 1987 he left municipal service and joined the corporate sector when he was offered a position at Standard Bank of SA Ltd as Valuation Manager, Commercial Property Finance. He resigned in 1994 to pursue a career in private practice. Hein is a Fellow of the South African Institute of Valuers and a registered Professional Valuer with SACPVP. He has 43-years’ experience in the making of property valuations for all sectors and property types.
